CNA Pinning Ceremony - August 16th

Saturday August 16th marks PMCI's second graduating Nurse's Assistant class.

The 16 graduates are: Angelique Nava, Brenda Ibarra, Lisa Orozco, Mary Antonette Torres, Mary Paulette Torres, Astyn Johnson, Amanda Castillo, Liliana Saldana, Brianne Galik, Khristina Baumgartner, Hector Domingo, Karley Shugerman, Mercedez Alvarado, Roxana Wolfe and Gina Fetman

We are also excited to welcome Kaitlin Shaw as our guest singer for the national anthem.

The ceremony will begin at 2:30 and will take place at the Thousand Oaks Library.

Refreshments will be served following the pinning of the graduates.

University Village Field Trip

Yesterday the evening CNA class was given the chance to go to the grand opening of University Village, a new assisted living facility in Thousand Oaks. The students took a guided tour of the facility and were blown away by how gorgeous and modern it is. The staff was welcoming and friendly, the food was amazing and the level of care that patients are set to recieve is impressive. All the students agreed that the facility would definitely be a place they would enjoy working.

The building/campus you see in that video is our Westlake Village location. This is where our Nursing Assistant courses have taken their theory classes and lab units. Due to the larger size of our Vocational Nursing program we will soon move to a building located in Thousand Oaks, Ca.
